About

Originally from the great Midwest, I found myself in the middle of an arid desert in 2013, a single mom of two boys, working in Corporate America. My background has taught me the importance of maintaining a budget on a limited income, as one never knows what the future will bring-especially when that future was 2020!

Between toilet paper and food shortages, quarantines, vaccines, and an abundance of conspiracy theories, I found myself wishing I was a homesteader in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, it wasn't a realistic goal at the time, so I began planting vegetables inside my house: call it in-homesteading, perhaps?

It wasn't long before I realized that I needed to expand and bought a small greenhouse to erect in the backyard. This also became outgrown within a short time, and along came the raised-beds-which requires a lot of soil.

Now living in the desert, rich organic soil is not easy to come by. When I found a brand that I really liked and had great success with, I had to order it online. This is what brought me to where I am today-not only selling my plants (after many requests to do so) but also providing the same soil to my neighboring gardeners.

So, my friend, welcome to my garden. Please feel free to look around, ask questions, but most importantly, please introduce yourself!
